Our client is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Engineering Manager for their GTA, Ontario location. The CNC Manufacturing Engineering Manager will serve as the onsite expert regarding best practices. As part of the Engineering team, this position will drive operational excellence and implement best practices to achieve stretched objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Act as the primary technical resource for the shop floor, troubleshooting issues and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
· Verify and launch all shop floor work orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness before release.
· Lead initiatives for continuous process improvements, optimizing efficiency, cost, and quality.
· Drive research & development efforts, implementing innovative solutions for manufacturing challenges.
· Serve as a key point of contact for technical customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
· Lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a seamless transition into production.
· Supervise and mentor a team of three senior engineers (15+ years of experience), providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
· Foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering team environment.
· Participate in all meetings, contributing technical expertise and resolution strategies.
· Ensure the department remains audit-ready by maintaining compliance with internal and external quality standards.
· Uphold and enforce site-wide operational and safety best practices.
· Act as a key leader within the facility, driving engineering excellence and aligning with company goals.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
