Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) dedicated to delivering exceptional IT support and solutions to their customers. Their team thrives on solving technical challenges and providing top-notch customer service and experience (CX). They are seeking a dynamic and resourceful CX On-Demand Engineer to join our growing team in our London, ON office.

Job Overview:
As an CX On-Demand Engineer, you will provide critical on-site IT support to our clients, ensuring their systems run smoothly and their technical needs are addressed promptly. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure, and excels at problem-solving. You will deploy laptops, troubleshoot on-site technical issues, and respond to ad-hoc emergencies and project needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support at client premises for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.
  • Deploy, configure, and test laptops, desktops, and other end-user devices.
  • Handle ad-hoc emergency situations, including network outages, hardware failures, and software issues.
  • Assist with on-site implementation of IT projects, such as hardware upgrades and network setups.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, delivering excellent customer service and technical expertise.
  • Document all tasks and resolutions in the company’s ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with the remote support team to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably with an MSP or similar environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, and common enterprise software applications.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with remote management and monitoring tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to client sites.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft MCP/Modern Desktop, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
