Responsibilities:

•Support assigned plant in the capacity, but not limited to, re-scoping, mid-cycle action, line speeds objectives, plant volume changes, throughput initiatives and platform variant implementations.

• Develop standard time studies using either MODAPTS, MOST or MTM-UAS based upon the standards used at the plant being supported.

• Revise MODAPTS, MOST or MTM-UAS studies, to reflect process and/or element changes

• Revise Standard Work Instruction to reflect process and/or element changes

• Identify bottlenecks and throughput issues and implement corrective actions

• Identify Non-value and unbalance activities and implement corrective actions

• Optimization of station operations, Perform Value Stream Mapping

Material and Process Changes

• Analyze all new and/or revised process sheets at the element level to determine changes

• Identify, revise and implement all Standard Work Instructions and material routing.

• Able to develop and implement line side material placement (PFEP)

Scroll Development

• Update job station operation with new process information

• Identify and track new and/or replacement parts/ tools

• Capture changes to line operation

• Maintain scroll revisions and communicate with team.

Productivity and Manpower Assignments

• Identify and develop productivity plans

• Identify, plan, implement and ensure sustainability of rebalancing opportunities

• Work with plant IE’s with station optimization, and line balancing.

• Work with other departments to ensure material handling, Quality, Ergonomic and Safety practices are in place for station readiness

• Support Customer IE as directed with daily operation

REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering

· 5+ years of Experience Required

· Expertise within the operational areas of industrial manufacturing facilities.

· Expertise with standard IE terminology and industry practices used to formalize professional studies and reports.

· This position requires leadership experience with patience, logic, and ability to approach problems with a level head.

· Construction &/or facility installation experience preferred.

· Must demonstrate; organization, excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to assess, track, and mitigate project risks.

· Ability to have vision for scope growth and willingness to follow through.

· Ability to determine the customer’s requirements and goals.
