We are hiring a Machine Operators / Continental Day- Night Shift Swing to join our manufacturing client in Vaughan, ON Area!
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work as a team to achieve production, quality and safety goals
· Operate production equipment including; mixers, production presses, cylinder presses, peeling machines, rewinding machines, convoluters, laminators, die cut, regrind and screening line
· Read and follow all work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the products being run
· Wrap, strap and correctly label all materials used and produced
· Complete required documentation (e.g., production reports, pre-shift inspections, etc.)
· Report production activities & place products into designated inventory bins in the ERP system
· Review products for quality and conformance standards and report issues to the supervisor
· Complete hand-off to the subsequent shift, with a focus on production concerns and crucial work instructions
· Operate forklift safely, if assigned and upon successful completion of training
· Operate overhead bridge crane safely, if assigned and upon successful completion of training
· Any other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS
· At least one year of manufacturing experience or equivalent
· Lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
· Stand for 12-hour shifts
· Clear criminal record check required
· Continental Day Shift: 8:00am – 8:00pm
· Rotation
