The Senior Engineering Manager is responsible for the planning, management, and execution of facilities and supported capital projects across all our clients' locations by directing, coaching, and mentoring a team of facilities engineers assigned to the projects.

· Acting as a key link between Plant Operations, Product Development (R&D), Marketing, HSE, Quality Assurance, and Engineering to implement the long-term plan (LTP) for all sites.
· Provide effective reporting to track key performance indicators, capture learnings, and apply for continuous improvement of project execution effectiveness.
· Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of projects, including stakeholder engagement, contractor/consultant management, site safety, and budget management
· Delegate assignments, coordinate, and monitor the work in progress of the Engineering Facilities team.
· Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality, facilities, and safety standards
· Capital forecasting and timely entry and close-out of projects.
· Responsible for the execution of their own assigned projects, which are large-scale, complex, and potentially multi-location initiatives.
· Provide coaching and guidance to Engineering Facilities team members to meet goals and help them reach their full potential.
· Provide support to Operations by the effective transition of fully functioning operating systems and equipment for all projects. Troubleshoot and implement potential solutions as required.
· Provide technical support to Operations and Engineering to ensure business continuity of facilities systems / infrastructure.
· Respond to internal and external information requests. Assist with establishing standards, policies and procedures that will improve the Engineering Department’s overall performance.
· Ensures that all site drawings and standard specifications are updated when changes are made as a result of renovations, new additions or maintenance over time (i.e. building layouts, mechanical / electrical changes
Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
· 6-10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with direct project management experience, managing the timely execution of multi-disciplinary projects, specifically related to infrastructure and facilities operations
· Previous experience implementing change management, developing quality practices, and coordinating collaborative initiatives
· Design and implement processes within their team that improve effectiveness and productivity, allowing them to focus on higher-value work.
· Ability to handle higher levels of autonomy and complexity.
· Excellent Leadership and critical thinking skills – capable of leading cross functional teams to achieve project goals.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to influence all levels of the organization to achieve project goals.
· Strong analytical skills including troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills to effectively lead teams to quickly identify issues, causes and sustainable corrective actions
· Ability to hold others accountable and to manage confrontation.
· Strong ability to mentor and motivate staff.
