Senior Vice President, Finance
We're seeking a seasoned Senior Vice President, Finance to join our Executive Leadership team in Toronto, ON. As a key member of the team, you'll report directly to the CFO, work closely with the CEO, and play a central role in supporting the organization's direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to shape and execute long-term financial strategies.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Oversee annual budgeting, multi-year forecasting, and performance reviews.
- Accounting & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, overseeing the monthly close process and internal controls environment.
- Team Leadership & Operational Excellence: Provide inspirational leadership and guidance to finance staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present financial updates and recommendations to the Board of Directors and key committees.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible and diverse experience in finance.
- Strategic Acumen: Strategic thinker with experience in developing and implementing short- and long-term financial plans.
- Financial Expertise: Expert-level knowledge and experience with current practices related to operating and capital budget planning, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Critical Thinking and Financial Forecasting: Ability to identify and solve problems, interpret complex information, and prepare forecasts and financial models.
- People Leadership: Leadership and interpersonal skills to direct staff and provide advice and guidance to all levels.
- Education: Bachelor's degree with a major in finance, business, or a related field, and a CPA in good standing.
