We're seeking a seasoned Vice President, Packaging to lead our client’s industrial packaging business across Canada. This national role will drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence, expanding market share and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop National Packaging Strategy: Align with corporate goals and growth ambitions, driving sustainable revenue growth through scalable programs and strategic national account development.

- Leadership and Team Management: Provide strategic leadership to Sales Directors and Category Director, coaching for performance and accountability.

- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships with key customers and supplier partners.

- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.

- Collaboration and Partnerships: Partner with marketing to create targeted campaigns and lead vendor negotiations to improve product assortment and pricing.

- Operational Excellence: Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective order fulfillment, optimizing packaging inventory asset management.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA an asset.

- Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in packaging industry or similar sectors.

Skills:

- Deep understanding of packaging materials, equipment, and supply chain dynamics.

- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and margin management.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Highly strategic thinker with proven ability to execute complex initiatives and deliver results.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven track record of managing large national accounts and leading geographically dispersed teams.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives.
