Job Description

We have an immediate openings for a Warehouse Associate at our client’s warehouse in Concord, ON!

 

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Job Duties

· Shipping – Picking and packing orders ranging from one to multiple pallets. Repacking items into appropriate shipping containers. Accurately record the required information on shipping documents.

· Receiving – Inspect inbound shipments to ensure proper product quality. Verify that the correct products and quantities are received and match the receiving documentation.

· Warehouse Maintenance - Perform daily and weekly maintenance tasks, including start-of-shift cleanup, organization, and equipment inspections.

· Inventory Control - Performing daily inventory counts and spot checks. Assist with annual physical inventory. Report any discrepancies to the management team.

· Performing other duties and assignments as requested.

Health and Safety

· Comply with all internal health and safety policies as well as OH&S Regulations.

· Follow all Health and Safety procedures and safe systems of work.

· Ensure the safe operation of all equipment, including counterbalance lift trucks, reach trucks, order pickers and power walkies.

Job Requirements

Experience & Education:

· Minimum of 2 years recent relevant warehouse work experience.

· Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills in English

· Experience with material handling equipment, including counterbalance, reach truck, and order picker.

· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook)

Skills & Attributes:

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to learn new tasks and duties

· Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

· Positive attitude and outlook

· Strong organization and planning skills

· Able to consistently lift 25 kg
