What you will do:

• Set up and operate Trumpf Brake Press machines to produce accurate, high-quality parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure jobs are completed to exact specifications.
• Measure and inspect parts using precise measuring instruments to confirm correct dimensions.
• Follow established quality control procedures and ensure every part meets customer and internal standards.
• Check finished products for accuracy in shape, dimension, and overall integrity.
• Work from specifications, work orders, or verbal instructions to complete daily tasks.
• Document completed work, maintain accurate records, and follow company processes.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machinery to keep it running smoothly.

What you will bring:

• Minimum 5 years of Brake Press set-up experience — you know the equipment, tooling, and sequencing inside out.
• Experience with Trumpf or Amada presses (strong asset).
• Strong blueprint reading abilities (must pass an onsite practical test).
• Skilled in precise measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and confident with imperial measuring tape.
• Hands-on experience in metal fabrication, ideally in a fast-paced production setting.
• Proven ability to run Brake Press operations safely and efficiently.
• A strong safety mindset — you’re aware of your surroundings and take responsibility for working safely around machinery.
