What you will do:
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves working on a 6 month project with opportunity for extension.
Assisting skilled laborer's with tasks as needed including but not limited to use of hand and power tools, loading and unloading material, moving material to other locations within the job site. MUST be able to follow direction and take initiative and have excellent attendance
· Perform general construction tasks including lifting, carrying, and assembling materials.
· Assist skilled tradespeople with basic tasks as needed.
· Maintain cleanliness of the worksite by removing debris, sweeping, and organizing materials.
· Load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
· Follow safety protocols at all times, including the use of PPE and adherence to site regulations.
· Assist with any construction activities as required.
· Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or site concerns to the supervisor.
· Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision.
· Support site setup and breakdown for daily operations or special projects.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or site manager.
Hours will be 32 hours per week - Days and Afternoons as set by the Sr. HR Manager
What you will bring:
· Previous experience in construction, general labour, or industrial environments
· Ability to perform physically demanding work.
· Basic knowledge of working on a construction site
· Strong attention to safety and following instructions.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.
· Must have grade 12 Diploma
