What you will do:
We are currently seeking Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of sheet metal press machines. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, maintains a clean and safe workspace, and ensures production runs efficiently and accurately.
· Set up, operate, and maintain metal stamping press equipment
· Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
· Maintain accurate production and machine operation records
· Inspect parts and verify they meet quality specifications
· Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
· Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) properly
· Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and measurements
· Report any product deviations or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
· Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
· Participate in all required training and orientation sessions
What you will bring:
· Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
· Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing or production setting
· Basic understanding of mechanical principles and machinery
· Must have reliable transportation (location not accessible by public transit)
· Availability for rotating 12-hour shifts:
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
· Positive attitude and strong communication skills
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team
· Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools (asset)
· Forklift certification is an asset, but not required
