We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager in Windsor, ON for a top Tier One company in the Automotive Industry!
The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and management of all plant operations. This includes production, maintenance, quality, health and safety, logistics, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role ensures that the plant operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all company policies and applicable legislation. The Plant Manager drives operational excellence and fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Salary range: CA $140K-$180K/year

Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards.
· Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles. Continue to manage and support IATF requirements.
· Drive initiatives to optimize plant performance, including improving coordination, workflow, and productivity.
· Ensure operations meet customer requirements and corporate goals.
· Champion a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency gains.
· Implement and sustain lean manufacturing methodologies.
· Maintain and enforce quality control systems (IATF) to meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
· Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to address non-conformance and process improvement opportunities.
· Facilitate the adoption and integration of advanced digital technologies and automation to enhance production efficiency, accuracy, and data-driven decision-making.
· Manage the plant’s budget, production costs, and resource allocation to achieve finance objectives.
· Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or safety.
· Participate in strategic planning, capital projects, and operational forecasting.
· Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Ontario) and all relevant environmental and workplace regulations.
· Promote a proactive safety culture through regular inspections, safety talks and corrective actions.
· Lead incident investigations and ensure root cause analysis and creative actions are completed.
· Lead, coach and develop supervisors and production teams to build a strong performance driven culture.
· Foster a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
· Conduct performance reviews, create professional development plans and apply professional improvement plans when necessary.
· Manage staffing levels and support all training and development initiatives.
· Collaborate with corporate and other functional areas to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
· Drive efforts to expand the plant’s market presence and customer base.
· Serve as the primary liaison between plant operations and corporate leadership.
· Communicate plant performance updates, challenges and initiatives effectively across all levels.
· Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, HR and maintenance teams to ensure alignment and operational continuity.
Qualifications:
•Extensive experience in automotive manufacturing, with a proven track record in plant management.
•Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
•Proven ability in operational management, KPI oversight, and financial management.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
