Purpose of the role:

The Power & Mechatronics Specialist drives revenue growth by developing and executing commercial plans, providing tailored solution-based technical recommendations to our clients. As a technical expert, this position supports internal teams, vendors and customers, fostering a unified sales approach

Salary range: $85-120K/year

What you will do:

Solution Based Selling:

· Drive outcome-based selling with a deep understanding of industrial business drivers.

· Support sales team to proactively implement business plans.

· Promote the value-add of assigned products in competitive situations.

· Train internal staff on the sales and commercial aspects of variable frequency drives and motion control products.

· Research market conditions, competitive forces, determine market share, and identify opportunities for growth.

· Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new vendor partners to achieve annual business goals.

Technical Subject Matter Expertise:

· Possess a solid understanding of low voltage electrical and grounding systems.

· Stay up to date in current technology related to variable frequency drives and motion control products, including Emulate3D, motion-related networking, independent cart, and robotics.

· Communicate with customers, vendors and employees, providing technical expertise while instilling confidence and credibility.

· Participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competencies.

 

Job Requirements

What you will bring:

· Mechatronics Degree or equivalent combination of skills, experience or education.

· 5 Years of related experience.

· Sales focused with the ability to influence others.

· Proficient technical writing & presentation skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at a time.

· Self motivated with the ability to work independently.
