Our client, a leading manufacturer of aluminum products, is seeking a Packing Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of the packing department. This role plays a critical part in meeting customer demands while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained on the production floor.
Pay and/or Salary: $21 pr/hr

Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and delegate work based on the packing schedule and customer demands
· Oversee shift handovers and ensure smooth transition of duties
· Operate a combi forklift to move materials in and out of packing stations
· Ensure packers follow instructions, diagrams, and quality standards for each job
· Monitor calibration of testing tools and audit packing accuracy daily
· Liaise with the Quality Technician for immediate resolution of issues
· Maintain inventory of packing materials and coordinate restocking as needed
· Ensure proper documentation and reporting of each shift's activities
· Assign and oversee cleaning tasks, ensuring a clean and safe workspace
· Train and support new team members
· Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 2+ years in a packaging or warehousing role
· Valid combi forklift license (required)
· Prior team leader or supervisory experience (preferred)
Skills and Competencies:
· Fluent in English (verbal and written)
· Strong leadership, time-management, and multitasking skills
· High attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Familiarity with safety regulations in manufacturing environments
