Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering projects within the agreed scope, timeline, and budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and client satisfaction is achieved. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing projects, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you will do:
· Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, budget and quality.
· Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
· Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
· Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns or issues.
· Monitor and track project progress, utilizing project management tools and methodologies.
· Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction.
· Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
GENERAL ATTRIBUTE / COMPETENCIES:
· Good blueprint reading skills and working knowledge of e-Drawings preferred
· Understanding of costing techniques.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills
· Ability to think ahead, proactively, with a high degree of attention to detail
· Fast processor of information, energetic, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
· Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet customer project commitments
What you will bring:
· 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication or engineering design and project management
· PMP Certification considered an asset
· Ability to read or use CAD programs such as: SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Fusion 360
· Flexibility to travel to the manufacturing facilities or customer’s site in Canada, the United States, and Internationally as required to successfully execute the projects assigned
