We have an exciting new role for a Senior Grower in Leamington, ON!

Responsibilities:

· Oversee production and harvesting, including pest management, climate control, crop maintenance, labor planning, and scheduling

· Plan growing activities and production schedules, ensuring compliance with company standards

· Monitor environmental conditions and apply fertilizers, herbicides, and plant health products as needed

· Inspect crops regularly, removing substandard or diseased plants to maintain quality

· Develop and implement new growing procedures, record data, research innovations, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Job Requirements

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field required, with minimum 3 years’ commercial greenhouse experience

· WHMIS and Grower Pesticide certifications required; experience with PRIVA climate control preferred

· Strong knowledge of plant biology, disease and pest identification, and accurate application of fertilizers and chemicals

· Skilled in the use of injectors, EC and pH meters, irrigation systems, and environmental monitoring

· Knowledgeable in GMP, Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, PrimusGFS, with strong attention to detail and communication skills
