We have an exciting opportunity in the Windsor-Essex Area for a Senior Quality Engineer for a top Global company in the Automotive Industry!
Scope of the position:
This position will provide statistical information for the quality improvement by identifying and testing methods and samples as well as coming up with solutions to improve the productions and quality process within the manufacturing plant.
Salary range : $90,000-120,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
· Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes
· Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence
· Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests
· Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
· Ensures the company is fully prepared for all IATF 16949 audits
· Liaises with the customer on quality issues and ensures that all required team members are aware of any quality concerns
· Ensures training occurs on all processes and manages the training required for all team members/Departments
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
· Adheres to 5S philosophy
· Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
· 5-7 years’ experience in Quality in the Automotive Industry.
· Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
· Attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
· Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
· Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
· Knowledge of quality control processes, procedures, and policies.
· Ability to develop and implement quality standards and promote continuous improvement.
· Understands PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA and APQP
· Knowledge of G.D.T
· Understand VDA6.3
· Computer skills.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Ability to travel internationally, including US, China, Europe and other countries.
· Mandarin Speaking is an asset.
