What you will do:
Accu-Staff is currently hiring Skilled Manufacturing and Assembly Operators for a reputable manufacturing facility in Lakeshore. This role involves the assembly of glass wall systems for commercial accounts. We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals with proven experience in assembly, construction, or manufacturing.
Note: This position is full-time only and requires availability for all shifts. Part-time availability will not be accommodated.
· Assemble glass facades and wall systems according to specifications and drawings.
· Load and offload materials based on order sheets and specifications.
· Utilize hand and power tools (grinders, trimming tools, cutting tools, etc.) for part preparation.
· Read and interpret spec sheets, blueprints, and basic drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
· Collaborate effectively with team members to complete job orders.
· Track and record materials for inventory, shipping, and scrap.
· Prepare and package finished parts for shipping.
What you will bring:
Note: Candidates will complete a skills test during the interview process. This includes ruler/tape measure reading and basic math (addition, multiplication, division, fractions).
· High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent – required
· 1+ year of manufacturing experience in a production environment – required
· Construction or trade experience – asset
· Proven ability to read a tape measure and other measuring tools
· Experience with hand and power tools
· Overhead crane experience – asset
· Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (assisted) and stand for long periods
· Ability to read basic blueprints or assembly sheets
· Solid math skills (fractions, conversions, measurements)
· Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
· Reliable transportation (location not accessible by public transit)
Work Schedule
· Monday to Friday (Straight shifts – no rotation)
· Saturday overtime as needed
