Job Details:
· Assembly of small to large application-specific fluid power and power transmission components for the automotive industry - belt systems, pulley systems - in a fast-paced environment
· Follow all safety procedures and operate equipment safely
· Maintain accurate records of production and machine operation
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
· Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE)
· Union facility
· Report any product deviations or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
· Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
· Attend all required training sessions and orientation
Qualifications:
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must be able to work MAD shift
· Must be able to pass a police clearance and required aptitude testing
· Weekends and Overtime may be mandated
· Must have a Grade 12 Diploma
· Positive attitude and clear communication skills
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment
· Ability to read technical drawings and knowledge of machinery is an asset
· Forklift certification is a plus, but not required
